The ASCEND Solar Car Project was a collaborative project developed by Deakin University in Partnership with Acciona Energía to complete in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. This was the first time Deakin has entered the World Solar Challenge and this tasked the university with engineering a solar powered car which would enter a race from Darwin to Adelaide.

Through my internship I was tasked with developing the signage which would be displayed at Federation Square for Design Week. I was also tasked with developing the design which would be placed on the car along with a video which would be displayed on one of the screens for the exhibition.

This was a great experience where I worked alongside my supervisor and the Engineering team to develop the work for the exhibition whilst meeting the requirements for of the University and Acciona Energía.
